Made under section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, this statement sets out the steps Yezda Ltd has taken during the financial year ending 31 March 2026 to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or our supply chain.
Yezda has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to enforcing effective systems and controls that ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operations or supply chain.
Yezda Ltd is a UK-based BS7858 pre-employment screening bureau. Our supply chain is small and predominantly UK-based, comprising cloud and software vendors, identity and credit data providers, professional services firms (legal, audit, insurance), and office facilities suppliers. We do not source physical goods at scale, manufacture, or operate in sectors typically associated with elevated modern-slavery risk.
Before onboarding any sub-processor or supplier of material spend, we carry out a due-diligence review covering ownership, modern-slavery posture, and adverse media. Suppliers must confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and (where applicable) publish their own statement. We refresh these reviews annually for our top suppliers.
We assess our overall modern-slavery risk as low, given the nature of our supply chain and the regulated character of our customer base. The areas of highest residual risk are office facilities (cleaning, catering) and any temporary labour. For those categories we contract only with reputable UK suppliers who employ staff directly under PAYE and provide written confirmation of compliance.
All Yezda employees complete annual training that covers identifying signs of modern slavery, the obligations under the Act, and how to escalate concerns. The training is delivered as part of our broader compliance curriculum alongside data protection and information security.
